CovidSafe Plan

For your wellbeing and the wellbeing of others, Illume Psychology is taking precautions in accordance with public health directives to reduce transmission of COVID-19, including provision of a HEPA filter air purifier in each consulting room to ventilate the space.

It is not possible to ensure a completely risk-free environment when attending sessions in person.

Telehealth services are available by request and remain preferred as the first option for care delivery when you or your therapist are symptomatic. During lockdown restrictions in person appointments may be offered for essential care only.

Please note the following when attending in person appointments:

  • Sign in with the QR code if applicable

  • Face masks are required in accordance with public health directives

  • Ensure physical distancing (keep 1.5m apart)

  • Practice good hygiene (hand washing and use of hand sanitiser)

  • Immediately notify Illume Psychology and self-isolate if you test positive for COVID-19 or are a close contact of a confirmed case

  • At first sign of any symptoms, get tested and stay home

    • Fever

    • Runny nose

    • Sore throat

    • Cough

    • Chills

    • Shortness of breath

    • Loss of sense of smell or taste

Consultation rooms are regularly cleaned and high touch surfaces are disinfected regularly before and after sessions.

Your attendance and anyone accompanying you to an appointment will be recorded and readily provided to contact tracers where required.

Please continue to discuss your concerns and ask questions about continuing your therapy during this uncertain time.
