Website Misuse
You must not post or transmit unlawful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate material, or any virus, worm, or automated routine that could disrupt or damage our Site. You must not engage in any conduct that would constitute a criminal offence or otherwise breach law.
Payment, Fees, and Non-Payment
Payment and Fees – Our fees do not exceed the Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommended fee for services. The full APS schedule is available on the APS website.
By booking an appointment directly or via our Site, you agree to pay the stated fees. Consultation fees are determined by the clinician, duration, and nature of service, and may include administrative or booking fees.
Fees may be varied at any time without prior notice. Unless otherwise stated, all fees include applicable taxes.
Client Relationship and Payment Responsibility – When you engage in our Services, you are considered the client/patient, and our professional relationship, including confidentiality, consent, and record-keeping, is solely with you. If another person, such as a parent, guardian, or third party, contributes to or covers the cost of your sessions, that financial arrangement is between you and that person or entity.
Non-Payment and Debt Recovery – Payment is required as agreed at booking or on the day of the appointment. If payment is not received by the due date, we may pause or discontinue Services until payment is made or a payment arrangement is agreed. We aim to resolve payment issues sensitively; however, if reasonable attempts fail, the account may be referred to a debt collection agency or legal representative, and you will be responsible for any reasonable recovery costs.
Delays and Suspension of Services
We will not be liable for any delay or failure to provide Services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including illness, technical issues, public health restrictions, natural events, or other unforeseen circumstances.
If a psychologist takes leave or leaves the practice, we will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative appointment or referral. However, we cannot guarantee that another clinician will be available or that ongoing appointments can be provided within the same timeframe.
We may suspend or reschedule Services where necessary, including in cases of illness, emergencies, technical disruption, or non-payment. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you and minimise inconvenience.
Offers and Cancellations
Offers – Promotional offers apply only to the specified amount and period stated, are valid for new clients only, and are limited to one use per client. Payment for the initial consultation must be made at the time of booking. Appointments may be rescheduled with at least three (3) days’ notice; no refund is available for non-attendance. Offers are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be modified or withdrawn at any time.
Cancellation Policy (Psychology Services) – When a course of therapy is entered into by mutual agreement, an appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Standard appointments are 50 minutes unless otherwise arranged. Late cancellations or non-attendance (including initial consultations) may incur a fee up to the full session amount. Repeated cancellations may result in changes to payment arrangements or discontinuation of services.
Cancellation Policy (Illume Studio) – For sessions, events, or workshops:
• All bookings are final and non-refundable.
• If you cancel at least 48 hours prior, you may request a credit toward a future session or transfer your booking to another person, subject to approval and availability.
• No credits, transfers, or refunds apply within 48 hours or for non-attendance.
• If we cancel an event, you will be offered a full refund or transfer to another date.
• We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time.
